Online entries via SIENTRIES
Until Thursday evening 17th May 2018
Due to the nature of these events you MUST wear/carry the following items:
Please do not skimp on equipment - Hypothermia is dangerous, it is not worth it !! Event marshals will not let you start or disqualify anyone who does not meet the equipment criteria. If the weather is nice (and hopefully it is!) we will let you know what the reduced kit requirements are on the day.
To allow for a speedy registration process - for teams, please come together to registration:
Weather conditions/postponements/entry fees: in the event of inclement weather, we will do our utmost to run the events but safety will not be compromised under any circumstances. Should we have to postpone an event all entries and fees will be transferred to a re-scheduled date; if you cannot make this date then entry fees will be held over as a credit towards future Mini Mountain Marathons OR refunds will be given less a 25% admin fee (to cover our ongoing event costs).
Cancellations or transfers for injuries or other reasons: We don’t provide refunds and cancellations for any circumstances. Up to two weeks before the race it is possible to request a transfer to a future event in the same series (same year). After two weeks we can not honour transfers as most of the cost for the race will have been made.
If you hire a dibber from us you are responsible to return it unharmed. If you loose a dibber we will have to charge you the replacement cost of one - £30. If you break a dibber we will charge half the cost of a replacement - £15.
The category you fall in is determined based on your age on race day or the oldest runner in your pair.

SATURDAY 19TH MAY 2018
PLEASE COMPLETE AND BRING TO REGISTRATION
On Saturday the 19th of May we are organising our annual Dovedale based evening Kong Mini Mountain Marathon. The evening race is a shorter two hour race combining superb fell / trail running & navigation in a Mini Mountain Marathon type score event.
Ideal as a training event, a nice active evening out in the outdoors or to try out the Mini Mountain Marathon format. As it is a score event everybody can set out a route that matches their ability. Strong walkers are welcome as well.
Dovedale is a beautiful dale with the river Dove and the famous stepping stones. An ideal location for an event like this and, depending on your route choice, can be surprisingly challenging. And for the runners who have done previous races here, we have found some new check points for you!
Registration is at the Old Dog Pub, Spend lane, Thorpe, Ashbourne, DE6 2AT. Look out for white and black Kong Mini Mountain Marathon directional signs on the day. Registration opens at 5:30 pm and closes at 7 pm. The start is from Thorpe Pastures about 10-15 minute walk from the Pub. Try to arrive at least 30 mins before you intend to run. At the start you will be given a map and a control description / value sheet.
There is public parking near the Old Dog. Please follow the signs and directions from the marshals. Please use these car parks and do NOT park in the Old Dog car park nor Thorpe village.
The Old Dog will have pub food available for after the race.
